Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services'

I've just set up Trusted Signing in Azure, validated my identity and added a certificate - so far, so good.

However, when I attempt to sign my application, I'm presented with a Microsoft 'Pick an account' sign in window.

When I choose my account (it's the only one), I get this message:

Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application '04b07795-8ddb-461a-bbee-02f9e1bf7b46' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Please use a different account.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

    Hi @Mike McLoughlin

I understand that you are trying to sign in an application, and you got the below error message by selecting your account.
Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application '04b07795--* in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Please use a different account.*

Based on the error message it seems that your account isn’t recognized or does not exist in tenant you’re trying to access.

To resolve this issue, try to create or select a user in the tenant where the application is registered.
If you would like to sign in the application with your account check is your account and the application are in the same tenant, if not add your account as an external user.

Also, please refer the below post which is similar to your issue.
