Hi All,

I am using exchange 2016 hybrid environment. we create users in onprem and migrate to online. I have a shared mailbox, and one of my users is going to send 1,000 emails to external recipients from this shared mailbox. I don't want the external users to reply to this shared mailbox. I would like to set an auto-reply stating that the mailbox is not monitored, and at the same time, any emails sent to this shared mailbox should be dropped. Please guide me on how to achieve this

    Hello, @Glenn Maxwell,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform!

Based on your description, I understand that you want to set up an autoresponder for a shared mailbox in an Exchange 2016 hybrid environment and ensure that any emails sent to that shared mailbox are deleted.

To achieve the results you are looking for, you can follow the steps below.
