Issue: Azure DB MySQL - phpMyAdmin

Hi everyone,

I’ve already set up our WordPress from the marketplace, and the plan is Standard general-purpose production apps (P1V2 1 Core, 3.5 GB RAM, 250 GB storage) including phpMyAdmin but when I try to login domain.com/phpmyadmin required credentials and after entering the credential shows the error Cannot log in to the MySQL server.

Any idea to resolve this issue

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

The issue is might be with your password. login to your MySQL server with CLI and update the root password.

To log in to your MySQL server with the CLI, use the following command:

mysql -u root -

To update the root password, use the following command:

SET PASSWORD FOR 'root'@'localhost' = PASSWORD('YOUR NEW PASSWORD HERE');

Please replace 'YOUR NEW PASSWORD HERE' with your desired password.
