    @Rohit Kulkarni

    Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

    To install and configure a Self-Hosted Integration Runtime (IR) on your server, here are the recommended configurations:

    System Requirements:

    • Operating System: 64-bit Windows (Windows 8.1, 10, 11, or Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022)
    • .NET Framework: Version 4.7.2 or above
    • Processor: Minimum 2-GHz with 8 cores
    • RAM: Minimum 28 GB
    • Hard Drive Space: Minimum 80 GB of available space

    Additional Considerations:

    • Network: Ensure the machine is within a private network or virtual network.
    • Power Plan: Configure the machine to avoid hibernation, as it can disrupt the IR’s functionality.
    • Proximity to Data Source: Ideally, the IR should be on a different machine than the data source to avoid resource competition.

    Installation Steps:

    Download the Self-Hosted IR: You can download it from the Microsoft Integration Runtime.

    Create a selfhosted IR

    1. Run the Installer: Follow the prompts to install the IR on your server.
    2. Configure the IR: Use the Azure Data Factory or Synapse Analytics portal to configure and register the IR.
