Do we have to interconnect components in Microsoft Threat modelling tool or is it okay to have standalone(Components without connections in threat model)?

I am trying to do threat modelling on application hosted on Azure cloud. I am using Microsoft threat modelling tool 2018 to do threat modelling.

In my architecture diagram, there are some azure components for which there are no connections mentioned in architecture diagram. Can i replicate these components in my threat model as it is or is it necessary to give connections for these components? I am new to threat modelling on Azure Architecture. Any help would be much appreciated.
