If customer use VMSS (host agent) for Azure pipeline, and setting tear down on idle time.

Question from customer. VMSS will return VM quota after tear down or not?

Because if not, Existing VM quota will use until empty and VMSS can't create if Azure pipeline need to use.

    Hi Wootipong Consue (Office365),

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

Yes, VM quota will return after you tear down VMs in a VMSS, allowing for the creation of new VMs, as long as you have not exceeded your overall quota limits.

It takes some time for the quota to updated. But the quota will be returned, and you'll be able to create new VMs in the VMSS.
