Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.
The error message you received indicates that there is insufficient regional vCPU quota available in the East US region to create the AKS cluster. The error message specifically states that there is no vCPU quota left in the region.
Attempt to create your AKS cluster in a different region where you may have available quota.
If possible, configure your AKS cluster to use smaller node sizes that require fewer vCPUs.
To resolve this issue, you will need to request an increase in the vCPU quota for the East US region.
Free tier: Limited resources with inflight requests limit of 50 mutating and 100 read-only calls. Recommended node limit of 10 nodes per cluster. Best for experimenting, learning, and simple testing. Not advised for production/critical workloads-Service quotas and limits
If you are on a Free Trial, these plans often come with lower default vCPU quotas, which may explain why you're hitting the quota limit even with minimal node sizes.
You can increase certain default limits and quotas. If your resource supports an increase, request the increase through an Azure support request
