Hello.

I would like to inquire about the contents of the error during webauthn authentication.

For FIDO2 registration and authentication, Passkeys UI should be generated if it is normal to call webautn API

The issue I have experienced is that Passkeys UI does not occur when calling webauthn API, and error messages occur immediately.

To take action on the above issue, the following method was performed, but the issue was not taken action.

  1. PC BlueTooth OFF & ON
  2. Test in multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge)
  3. Test in a new session after Browser Version Update
  4. After locking your Windows account, log in with a Windows Hello PIN

In addition, the server log checks the log that responds 'challenge' to the request, but not the other log.

It is assumed that an error occurred in Authenticator or Browser.

To inquire, I would like to ask you how to debug in Authenticator or Browser.

At the moment, we can't even diagnose what areas (Server, Browser, Authenticator, etc.) are causing the issue, so we want to see how we can debug it.

The test environment is as follows.

  • Test PC: WIN11 version 23H2 (OS build 22631.4169)
  • Test Browser: Chrome and Edge use the latest version

Thank you.
