I had a problem with my Azure AD sync so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it will not install. I get to the end and it states, "An error occurred executing Configure ADD Sync Task: An error occurred while sending the request"

    Hello @Kevin McDonald,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A.

This issue may occur if TLS 1.2 is not enabled on your server. To resolve this, you'll need to enable TLS 1.2 before deploying Microsoft Entra Connect V2.0.

    Installation Prerequisites: ConnectivityUser's image

To check if TLS 1.2 is enabled, you can use a PowerShell script. Refer to the "PowerShell script to check TLS" for guidance. If you find that TLS 1.2 is not enabled, you can enable it using the "PowerShell script to enable TLS 1.2."

Following these steps should resolve the issue.

Additionally, if you have a proxy server, this could also be a potential cause. For more information on addressing this, please see the documentation on Connectivity Issues in the Installation Wizard.

I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
