Azure Virtual Network Gateway Fails Deployment

I'm on a trial subscription attempting to create a VM on a VN but can't seem to get the Virtual Network Gateway to successfully deploy. I'm tried dozens of combinations. We need to test out the service prior to moving to a long term subscription. Can I not do this under the current subscription?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the error we're getting:

    Hello Seth Fuller,

    Good day!

Welcome to the Q&A Platform for Microsoft! We appreciate you posing your query here.

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with deploying a Virtual Network Gateway (VNG) on a trial subscription.

    Trial Subscription Limitations:

    • Azure trial subscriptions have some limitations, but deploying a VNG is not explicitly restricted. However, there might be some limitations on the resources you can create or the regions you can deploy to.

Try deploying the VNG in a different region to see if the issue is region-specific.

I hope this helps you resolve the issue. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

If the preceding response helps to solve your concern, please remember to "Accept Answer" and "Upvote it" so that others in the community with similar problems can easily find a solution.

    Your contribution is greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Ganesh
