Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

One of my customer is having issue with Microsoft 365 Admin Portal 2FA.

  • The Customer admin account no longer has access to 2FA phone number & we need it reset.
  • The customer doesn’t have any other alternative methods only call & text to the number we no longer have.
  • Unfortunately this is the only admin account.
  • Microsoft enforced the 2FA that we had turned off causing this issue.

    If Phone Number is the only available / registered method, your customer won't be able to reset it by themselves. Check with them if they have other Admins in the tenant that can do that, otherwise they will need to reach out to Microsoft Customer Support via phone so they can help your customer to regain admin access to the tenant:
