Will Microsoft reimburse me for PL-300 exam after legal name issue cancelled my original exam?

I signed up for the PL-300 exam via Microsoft learn through Pearson Vue.

Due to Microsoft listing my legal name incorrectly, they did not let me sit for the exam and would not reimburse me for the exam. Since I need this certification quickly for work purposes, I created a new Microsoft account and scheduled another exam.

I believe it to be unfair I was charged for an exam I didn't take, and then had to pay again to schedule a new one.

Can Microsoft resolve this matter?
