Unable to remove an old Work account from Microsoft Authenticator.

Removing an old work account from the Microsoft Authenticator app does not work.
The work account re-populates right away.
Reinstalling the app does not help.
Clearing the App Cache and Data does not help.
Uninstalling, rebooting the Android Device, and then reinstalling does not help.
This has been ongoing for 2 weeks now, so I do not believe it is a token-based issue.
