Surface Laptop 3 freezes when switching to battery mode

Good morning, I have a 5 year old Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 with Windows 11, which shows the following behavior:

  • Battery doesn´t charge anymore. I have replaced the battery and deleted/reinstalled the driver, it didn´t help. The battery also doesn´t load through the USB-port. Power chord
  • It freezes after a forced restart
  • It also freezes when accidentally unplugging and switching to battery mode
  • It even freezes when changing energy mode

The trouble started while running Windows 10. I have upgraded to 11 and even done a complete reset, nothing has changed.

It looks like all these problems are linked. Can anyone help?
