Will IOT Hub connections using TLS 1.1 fail after 31st Oct along with event hubs and relays

TLS 1.1 support is ending on 31st October 2024 for Service Bus, Event Hubs and Relays as communicated by Azure. Further comms says All resources that interact with Azure must use TLS 1.2 by this date.

To confirm does anyone know what specific impact this will have on IOT Hub connections that use TLS 1.1? Will it not be affected as per the first comms, will they be rejected or will they just halt updates for this security protocol?

Email 1: "Upcoming TLS changes for Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, and Azure Relay—action may be required"

Email 2 "If you have resources that interact with Azure services and still use TLS 1.1 or earlier, transition them to TLS 1.2 or later by 31 October 2024"

Hello Hal Dickinson, the deprecation of TLS 1.1 support by Azure will indeed impact IoT Hub connections that currently use TLS 1.1. Starting from October 1, 2024, all resources interacting with Azure, including IoT Hub, must use TLS 1.2. This means that any IoT Hub connections using TLS 1.1 will be rejected after this date.
