Help with Upload pages under Master pagers + Remove greyed out Limited access

I tried make some styling changes on the Master pages by going into Display Templates : Search, and trying to upload a html file. However as a Site super-admin, i received error message stated that Sorry, you don't have access. Awaiting approval. We'll let you know about any updates.
However no one in the office team receive this request email.
When I look in to the permission group, i noted my Owner group permission other than 'Full Control' was ticked, the 'Limited access' was ticked and GREYED out. There is no way for me to remove this check box.
Anyone can provide some helpful tips to resolve this?
A. Able to upload HTML to Master pages section / B. Remove Limited Access.
