Less Sharepoint Space to the Loyal Customer

If I purchase two MS Office Business Essentials Plan under same Domain I get totally 1TB+10GB Sharepoint space.

If I purchase two MS Office Business Essentials Plan under different Domains I get 1TB + 1TB Sharepoint space.

Is my understanding correct and if correct it seems rather odd ?

    Per my test, If you buy two Microsoft 365 Business Basic(also known as Office Business Essentials before) plans under one domain, you will get 1 TB+10 GBlicenses purchased totally under two plans SharePoint storage. If you buy two Microsoft 365 Business Basic plans under two domains, you will get 1 TB+10GBlicenses purchased under corresponding plan per domain SharePoint sorage.

    An another limit you need to pay attention to is that the Microsoft 365 Business Basic plan each has a limit of 300 users. For more details of limits, please refer to this article: Limits by plan.
