SSRS interactive sorting - "sort by" dropdown and fx button missing

R-click on Column Header (Priority)

Choose Text Box Properties

Choose Interactive Sorting

Sort By:

There is no dropdown and I cannot see the “fx” button – even if I expand the box as far as it will go.

I managed to type in an expression but cannot amend it now.

    Hi @Sue Allum,

    Are you using Visual Studio to design the report?

    If yes, you may try to repair VS via VS installer like shown below.

    Please also make sure that there are data in your Text Box.
