Bitlocker configuration - Password complexity to encrypt USB storage

Hi everyone,

I have created a configuration profile in Intune to prevent users from writing information to unencrypted USB storage.

Doing the encryption test on a storage USB, I see that it asks you for a password. Supposedly, the password complexity is lowercase, uppercase, numbers, special characters and spaces. However, when you enter the possible password it only checks that it contains 8 characters or more, i.e. I was able to encrypt a USB with the password “aaaaaaaaaa”.

Do you know if there is another Intune configuration profile that allows forcing the specified password complexity to be met?

    Based on my research, intune doesn't have such setting that can force the specified password complexity of BitLocker.

    If you are interested in this feature, it is suggested to post in intune feedback portal. It is a place to collect customers' requirements and questions. Here is the link:
