I was running Win 10 and Office 2003 with no issues.

(On another PC I was running Win 11 with One Drive and Office 2003 with no issue.

I just updated the PC with the problem this post is about from Win 10 to Win 11.

Tested both Word 2003 and Excell 2003. Both Office 2003 applications have same issue.

If opening app from start, I am unable to hit open and search for file.

If I open a file from a window (on either D drive or One Drive), File opens fine, but...

"Save As" brings up a mostly blank window that never populates. If I hit any button on window Word/Excell stops working.

Based on some other article

https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/answers/questions/823632/unable-to-open-or-save-files-office-2003-basic-edi

I uninstalled One Drive.

With One drive uninstalled, both Excel 2003 and Word 2003 work fine, "Save As" Works and I can open then search for a file.

However, after re-installing one drive SAME ISSUE.

There must be a way to run win 11, one drive and office 2003, as I have another PC that uses all three (Win 11, One Drive, Office 2003) just fine (with full "Save As").

Has anyone figured this out?

Is Anyone willing to part with a legal copy of Office 2007 (with Prod Key) or later? Maybe that version would work. (I cannot afford 365).

    To Fix, Un-Sync OneDrive "DeskTop"

Then, both Excel 2003 and Word 2003 work fine, "Save As" Works.

    Steps to fix

    1. Right click little white Cloud on bottom right of task bar
    2. Select "Settings"
    3. Select "Sync and backup"
    4. Turn OFF "DeskTop"

That simple, took hours to figure out, hope this helps.

P.S. Is Anyone willing to part with a legal copy of Office 2007 (with Prod Key) or later? Maybe that version would work better?
