Microsoft Authenticator always reminding me that my account needs to reactivate phone login

Every time I approve a request, I am prompted, 'Phone login is no longer applicable to my account. I need to re enable phone login on my account.' However, when I set it to re enable phone login and approve login again, I still get prompted to reset it. It has entered an endless cycle, and I don't know how to solve this problem
