Accidentally deleted something from my authenticator app

I've accidentally deleted email octopus from my authenticator app when switching phones and it doesn't seem to have backed up. EmailOctopus are saying there is no way to log in without it so I'm losing all my customers! Any way to restore it?

2024-11-06T14:53:22.2533333+00:00 Do you still have access to your old phone that might have it? There should be a full phone backup in the google account you use on your android. Alternatively cloud backup may be enabled in your authenticator app. If all else failse, EmailOctopus support should be able to reset your MFA in theory.

2024-11-06T18:33:25.6666667+00:00 I have the old phone but the emailoctopus was deleted from the authenticator. I don't know if it can be restored from a google backup - how would I do this?
Cloud backup doesn't seem to have been enabled.
EmailOctopus Support are refusing to help.

2024-11-08T08:10:12.23+00:00 You will find google backup in your android settings. You would have to be lucky to have a backup from before you deleted it from the app, otherwise you are literally out of luck i'm afraid.
There's an option that may work though I can not recommend it nor promise it will work, is tell Emailoctopus that your account has been compromised. That way they may help you regain access, allowing you to set up MFA again.
