When I change a Azure SQL DB from vCore to DTU, I cannot see the DTU metrics

I am testing different SQL configurations with load and performance. I am changing existing SQL Azure provisioned vCore DB into Standard DTU, then running a load test again.

on the Overview Monitoring screen i get an error:

User's image

on the Monitor and Metric screen I dont see the DTU meterics in the list:

User's image

if I create a new SQL DB as DTU from the start, it all works, but I have lots of DB's I would like to convert and then monitor.

thanks for any advice.

Hello , Welcome to MS Q&A

When changing an Azure SQL Database from vCore to DTU, it is typical for metrics to take some time to populate in the Monitor and Metrics screen. The system may require a brief period to adjust and begin collecting the relevant DTU metrics after the change has been made. Therefore, waiting for a some duration for an 1-2hours is advisable to see if the metrics become visible.

Please let us know if any further questions

    Thanks
