Hello,

Thank you in advance for your help. I've locked myself out of my account. I can login using my email and I can reset my password but I keep getting stuck at the stage where I have to enter the code from authenticator, which I cannot access. Can you please help me>

Hi, I see! that’s a really pain, isn’t it? so don’t worry, u can sort this out. So, it sounds like you’re stuck with the Microsoft Authenticator app, and you can’t access the code, yeah? If you’ve set up any backup options (like text or email), try using those to verify your identity. U should get a code sent to your backup method. If that doesn’t work, you might need to reset your Microsoft Authenticator appp. You can do this by going to the Security Info page on your Microsoft account by chrome or edge what ever, there you can manage your authentication methods. There, you should be able to remove and re-add the app. If none of that works, just only one way u can asks Microsoft Support, and they’ll walk you through unlocking the account. Keep your chin up, you'll get back in soon! Let me know how it goes.

    Hi Shilpa Madiwale

Adding more support options than the steps mentioned above

If you have admins on this tenant, they can help to reset the access. If nobody is there to help out, you need to contact Microsoft to resolve the 2FA access.

Azure Support ticket can be raised here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/create-ticket

    Microsoft Global phone support: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2

Net time, make sure that you have an MFA backup available to recover the situation.
