is it possible to decide WHEN (WHAT TIME) to take full backup and differential backup during the day ?

    @sakuraime Azure database for MySql automatically manages the schedules for differential and full backups.
    These cannot be scheduled per database.

    Hello @sakuraime
    Unfortunately you cannot configure Backup schedule but you can select a retention period of 7 to 35 days.

    Backups on Azure mysql database depends on the Pricing tier.

    • For Basic tier full database snapshot is performed daily, there are no differential backups and all snapshot backups are full database backups only. Transaction log backups occur every five minutes.
    • For General purpose and Memory Optimized tiers full backups occur once every week, differential backups occur twice a day. Transaction log backups occur every five minutes.
