OneDrive Folder Limit

How many folders can you store within a folder in OneDrive? When I perform migrations with the SharePoint Migration Tool it errors out and will only copy 200 folders within a folder.

    Is there any message when SharePoint Migration Tool errors out?
    If yes, please share with us.
    And please refer to "Troubleshooting common SPMT issues and errors", maybe you may find the recommended action according to this article.
    Besides, I also suggest check whether there is a failure summary report, then you could try to find reasons for errors in migration tasks.

    OneDrive does not seem to have a requirement for the number of folders, but the number and size of files are limited.

    Here is a link, which shows the limitations for number of items to sync or copy.
    In addition, this is a linke about moving and copying across sites. In my opinion, it also applies to OneDrive for Business.

    • No more than 100 GB total file size
    • No more than 30,000 files
    • Each file must be less than 2 GB
