MOS Word Associate 2019 course using the 365 platform

If I take a course for Microsoft Office Specialist Word Associate, Excel Associate, and Powerpoint in a course that is made for 2019 but I have the Office 365 suite, is there a noticeable difference in menus, etc. and which certification exam should I take?
