Importing data from AS400/DB2 into SQL Server 2008R2 Via Linked Server

I am importing a AS400/DB2 table to SQL Server 2008R2. One column has chinese characters in the table, the rest is english. The CCSID (Code Page) for that one columns in the table were specifically set to 937 and others are 65535. When I try to import data via linked server, I am not importing the right data set. I have had no luck figuring the right solution. Please help...

What specific errors will appear when importing the data of the Chinese character column?such as garbled characters.
What is the data type of the column corresponding to the Chinese column on the target table? Try to use the nchar or nvarchar. -

How is you linked server configured, which connectivity stack are you using (OLE DB, ODBC, etc.)? Which driver?
You may need to specify proper CCSID in the connection string for the linked server in order for the driver to read and translate characters properly from DB2 encoding to the SQL Server.
