A side-by-side migration of SCSM is pretty straight forward.
- Install the new SCSM environment
- Configure the SCSM basics -> SCSM console -> Administration ->Settings
- Configure the SCSM Connectors
- Install 3rd party extensions and configure
Based on the current SCSM environment:
- Decide which customisations you want to migrate in the new SCSM environment

- Export unsealed MPs
- Verify all sealed MPs are available as *.mp or *.mpb file
