Copilot Studio Knowledge indefinitely processing

Is anyone else experiencing knowledge sources in Copilot Studio (uploaded pdfs in this case) indefinitely "in progress" after updating? I recently updated the solution to our production agent by exporting from our dev environment as a managed package and importing into our production environment as we normally do. However, this time, the knowledge is processing after days, and the agent is not able to answer questions as the knowledge is no accessible. Usually the knowledge is ready almost instantly.

This issue comes after all of the updates to Copilot Studio and I am at a loss for why this is occurring after the process has been completed before multiple times without issue.

    Hi Marysa,

I’m experiencing a similar issue as you.

I’ve created a new developer environment, but I’m unable to upload any document to the Copilot knowledge base.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this or how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance for your help!

After opening a ticket with Microsoft Support regarding my case (in an unmanaged environment, btw) I’ve been informed that the problem was that the organisation was not provisioned properly, as the attached image shows.

Here’s the support conclusion about the issue:

Issue: you reported that Microsoft Excel files added to a Copilot Studio Agent in a sandbox environment remain stuck in the 'Processing' state for several hours and eventually fail..

Resolution: we reviewed the issue internally, escalated to the backend team and the reprovisioning of the environments helped resolve the issue.

The environments were working fine after the resolution was implemented.
