Is it even possible to create standalone Visio and Project installs via the Office 365 Client Management installer in Configuration Manager? I'm hoping to avoid making four (or more) distinct deployment applications to accommodate the following scenarios.

Users with:

  1. O365 only
  2. O365 with Visio
  3. O365 with Project
  4. O365 with Visio and Project

Ultimate goal would be to be able to start with just O365 and then install Visio and/or Project on top of it without reinstalling the entire O365 suite. Attempts to do so via the integrated Office Customization Tool (by only selecting the standalone product and not selecting an Office suite) have not been successful.

How are others handling this situation within ConfigMgr?

Mark

    Hi @Yeatman, Mark ,

We could try the following link to configure (by only selecting the standalone product and not selecting an Office suite) to check if it is success. If not, CM may not be able to achieve it. Actually, CM just invoke the template of xml to deploy them.

Besides, could we know if there is a failure in installation or the client reinstall the entire O365 suite?
