i am trying to sign on to Teams with my gmail email address. When I sign in, I get a message saying "Approve sign in request' We've sent a notification to your mobile device. Microsoft Authenticator app, but we didnt hear from you in time.
Problem is - that message was automatically sent and no time had passed. In addition, I never got a message to my phone or my authenticator app. When i try to get a different way' as the messaging suggests, Both methods (1) 'approve a request on my Microsoft Authenticator app' and (2) 'use verification code from my mobile app' do not work. Please advise.
I am very frustrated as I cannot get access to group files for work. Keen to hear back from the Authenticator group as the teams group absolved themselves of any responsibility and pointed me here to this page.
