AIP 'Classify and protect' protection changes when doing multiple files

Hi there,

Bit of an odd one. When using the AIP unified labelling client, using classify and protect on a single CSV file shows the following (note the 'Generic protection'):

As soon as I select multiple CSV files and attempt the same operation this changes to:

Can anyone help me understand why this is? We use this often to share sensitive files with specific people/developers and it's a pain to do it one by one. I haven't tested yet but we also think the Classic client didn't have this behaviour (we recently migrated to the new O365 Compliance portal + Sensitivity labels)

    @Daniel Rogers
    Thank you for the follow up!

    The only documentation that I found which spoke to encrypting multiple files at once was our - Using File Explorer to classify and protect files. However, if this feature isn't what you're referring to, I'd recommend leveraging our User Voice forum to create a feature request, so our engineering team can hopefully implement this feature.
