Chnage Font color based on Task Status

Hello How can I change the font colour and style (eg bold, italic strikethough) based on the tasks Status.

Eg

if 'Over Due' - then red font
if 'Completed' - then grayed out and strikethrough
if 'Due this week' - then blue
if 'Not Yet Due' - black font (as is now)

I understand this may be done via a VBA macro but seems 'clumsy' .. isn't there another way?
