Azure lab services is best for using lab of single VM. However, what if we have an application server and database server and both are not supported on single VM. Is there any plan to built such template with multiple VMs. Also, these VMs should be deployed/cloned for each student. 2 VM template. if number of students are 4 then it should deploy 10 VMs (including 2 of Instructor)

    HI!

I give every student access to a Server 2019 Large (nested Virtualisation ) machine.

On this server 2019 I enabled the HYPER-V role and I am hosting multiple vm's on the "Lab VM", I am using advanced networking, routers, switches etc. works like a charm!

The largest puzzel is to setup 8 vm's on the limited disk :) Not sure how much resources you need.

@Shaikh, Alim - Thanks for reaching out.

We don't have plans to implement this feature yet. We're thinking about enabling more than 1 VM in the long-term, but we're trying to look more comprehensively at what are the different Azure resources we want to support inside Azure Lab Services.

And also we are thinking about beyond-single-VM scenarios more comprehensively for the long-term, but we don't have concrete plans yet .
