Hello!

The MachineObjectOU parameter contains Cyrillic characters in the CustomSettings.ini file.
In the Windows Deployment Wizard, these symbols are not displayed correctly and the computer does not fit into the specified OU.

how to fix this problem?
Changing the file encoding doesn't help. There is no way to change the path to OU.

    Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

Based on my experience, we may not use the Cyrilyc Characters in the MachineObjectOU and JoinDomain properties in the CustomSettings.ini file used in the MDT deployment process. The JoinDomain property can contain alphanumeric characters, hyphens [-], and underscores [_]. The JoinDomain property cannot be blank or contain spaces.

Please try to modify the settings in the Unattended.xml file to join the domain in the MDT deployment process.

For more detailed information, please refer to: Configuring MDT Deployments

    Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Simon
