Hello! Our DPM server is used for backup Hyper-V guest machines from cluster. All Hyper-V server are Windows Server 2019, so DPM is using RCT for Hyper-V guests backup. And I've discovered strange situation related to size of copied data. The size of guest VM is about 35Gb. First backup of this guest was about 35 gb, next bakups were about 300-500 Mb (I suppose because of RCT), but last backup was 160 Gb! And is it normal for DPM? Actually I don't understand this situation and how RCT calculated this amount of data. Could you please clarify me this situation? Thanks a lot in advance!

    Hi,

Thanks for your post, since windows-server-backup forum is mainly for Windows Server backup tool and vss issues, sorry that I'm not familar with DPM.

After research, I found it seems the dedicated forum for DPM has been closed, so, it's recommended to open a case with MS for better help about DPM issues. Thanks for your understanding!
