SignalR API calls using nodejs in a Function App

I have a very simple SignalR hub running using nodejs in a Function App. I want to add more functionality, specifically adding and removing from SignalR groups and users. I cannot find a reference for this in nodejs, only C#. Please help.

There aren't any dedicated samples @Oliphant, Christopher , but these two sample repos can help point you in the right direction:
