Hi Experts,

I am trying to deploy applications within a maintenace window, but somehow the application deployment does not start when the maintenance window time starts.
I am deploying the applications as "Required" and with the Assignment Schedule "as soon as possible".

Below is the screenshot of the maintenance Window that is configured

Below is the screenshot for the application deployment:

How do I achieve this?

    Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

Please help check the ServiceWindowManager.log on the problematic client, it will record details about the evaluation of maintenance windows.

I'm afraid the issue is that the duration of maintenance windows is too small to install the application as the maintenance windows is only ten minutes. It's recommended to expand the maintenance windows and try again.

    Best regards,
    Simon

How much time does the installation take? Check the MW log on the machine to verify if the deployment is getting a large enough window to download and execute the assignment. Also, your deployment assignment doesn't fit in the MW specified.

In addition to the others comments, you've configured the deployment to expire before the MW ever opens so there is no possibility that it will ever run.

What is the scenario here? Also, why would you create a 10-minute MW? Is this duration just for validation and testing?
