I have a home laptop used by children, I created a local admin account and was using a PIN to login or install software they required for school. The manufacturers recommended a BIOS update, I read through the release notes and all seemed fine no indication the update would change the login protocol. After a reboot the the PIN login was disabled and the password submitted did not work. Is there any way to recover access?
