Why doesn't the portal UI work for multiple hostnames, and why only 5 hostnames allowed?

The Application Gateway v2 / WAF V2 allows listeners with multiple hostnames, but only using the CLI interface.

  1. Why isn't the portal updated to allow this yet? It's fairly fundamental functionality isn't it?
  2. Why only 5 hostnames? We have (for reasons) many hostnames for 1 site, so we've had to make 5 listeners with 5 hosts in each

    Hello @Nigel Morse ,

Below is the update from the PG:

    1. Azure portal support for Wildcard host names in listener is currently in works and the ETA for it's rollout is by end of June 2021.
    2. With multi-site listener you can support 5 wildcard hostnames at this point and this is a preview feature limitation. We may evaluate increasing this limit in the next semester ensuring no performance impact, but no timelines currently. You may provide your feedback regarding same in the below forum for future improvements:

Kindly let us know if the above helps or you need further assistance on this issue.
