Can you mask remotely mapped printers as a whole?

I'm having trouble finding almost any documentation on Printer masking for FSLogix. I'm interested in using printer masking in VDI to keep users' home printers from being mapped and only allowing certain users the ability to map a home printer to their VDI session. We are using Microsoft RDS/VDI (not Citrix or VMware). I know this can be done using Resource Allocation Policies (RAPs) but inside RDS there is also a setting to map printers and when they conflict with one another the most restrictive wins. Essentially this makes the 'default' behavior to be "Allow Printer Mapping" and then you have to manually add users whom you DONT want to print, this is the opposite of how a good policy should work. You would want everyone to NOT get printers EXCEPT those you deem acceptable. This is for a compliance requirement.

    Hi,

FSLOGIX does not support turning off printer redirection for some specific users alone.
It is recommended you use RDP files to connect to remote VMs.
In this way, the RDP file of some users who do not need redirected printer should contain the following command-line.

    redirectprinters:i:0

Please refer to Supported Remote Desktop RDP file settings:
