FSLogix Profile Local folder - Application paths points to Local_username-Folder

Hi,

I have an application that has specified a bunch of filepaths for temporary save location for example to the user Profile Temp folder (username\Appdata\Temp...).

But when I check the various paths I see that i has specified the users "Local_<username>" Folder FSLogix has created to copy files it uses locally.

My question is how its possible for an application to be aware of the Local_<username>, I cant find it in the environment variables, and I dont understand why this is happening.

Have anyone encountered the same issue? Does anyone have an answer on why this is happening?

    Hello @Jonas Agblad ,

    1.Can you show clearly your registry configuration of fslogix profile container?
    2.Did you set redirections.xml file that redirect specific folders out of the profile container and into the local C: drive?

    By default the profile container VHD will contain the entire Windows profile for the user, except for:
    The TEMP (TMP) folder location
    The IE Cache folder location

    At user sign-out, the <username> redirect will disappear and the local_<username> folder is lazily deleted by the FSLogix service.
