Assuming a customer already has the pre- requisites in place, is there any reason why they couldn't utilize FSLogix in non VDI environments? Say, for instance, they wanted to centrally locate their user profiles for purposes of HA? Would that be supported, again assuming the licensing requirements were satisfied?

    Hello @Josh Stallings ,

Thanks for your query. Is it about FSLogix High Availability for Non-persistent virtual desktop?

The Azure Virtual Desktop service recommends FSLogix profile containers as a user profile solution. FSLogix is designed to roam profiles in remote computing environments, such as Azure Virtual Desktop.

Cloud Cache extends the functionality of FSLogix Profile and Office 365 Containers by seamlessly replicating containers to multiple storage locations for high availability. Furthermore, Cloud Cache reduces read IOPS consumption on file servers by caching containers on local physical or virtual machins.

There are two ways of defining profile locations in the FSLogix world. The first is the traditional path which allows writes to effectively any presented SMB share. The second option is FSLogix Cloud Cache, an emerging capability which promises the holy grail of Active-Active profile locations.
