Sharepoint - Unable to Check Site Owner for Permission

I have been using a Sharepoint page for quite a while for work purposes. One day, me and my team lost access to the page, with the page showing the "you need permission to access this site".

I am unable to check the site owner, and I believe that it may be a previous employee that can no longer give us access.

Unsure how this permission request started randomly.

    Hello @Jeremy Wang ,

    Welcome to Q&A Forum!

There are many scenarios which can prompt one of these messages. The most frequent cause is that permissions for the user or administrator are configured incorrectly or not configured at all.

You need to ask the administrator or site owners of the site to give you permissions.

For Access Requests, you can refer to the "Set up and manage access requests" for more information.

    Thanks,
    Echo Du
