Hello everyone, for a few days I have found myself this type of error when I try to publish the 2013 workflows. I can save them but not publish them.

"System.InvalidOperationException: Operation failed with error Microsoft.Workflow.Client.InternalServerException: Exception thrown from the data layer."

Do you have any ideas?

Thanks

    Hi @gibbi3

You could check error message in event viewer > Applications and Services Log > Microsoft-Workflow > Operational for more details.
Per my research you could try to grant permission of workflow manager service account in "WF_InstanceManagement_DB" and "WF_ResourceManagement_DB".
