How to increase pricing tier or server performance in MySQL Azure server?

I had created a mysql server with basic pricing tier of 2vCores and 10GB Storage to use it for hosting a wordpress site. But seems that the server is too slow with a loading time of more than 10 secs everytime i open a page in my. Wordpress. I can't change the pricing tier after server creation as the options are locked. Please help on how to increase performance or unlock higher pricing tiers.

    Currently there is no automated way to change a server from the Basic tier to the General Purpose or Memory Optimized tiers. Please see, upvote below feedback and also the comment in it
