Azure Access Errors

Details: AADSTS50020: User account '{EmailHidden}' from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'Default Directory' and cannot access the application 'ID'(Azure Portal) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.

I'm guessing this has something to do with the Microsoft personal vs work/school accounts, but recently we signed up for Microsoft 365 and now our Azure main login ID has this permission error in several areas. It even prevented us from signing up for a support account through the Azure portal. It's really frustrating to have no direct support line, things go wrong fundamentally with the support ticket system, and some alternate way other than forums or Twitter should really be available to paying customers. Especially when things go wrong out of our control.

Can anyone give a direct support email to Azure?

Might also try from an in-private browser session to avoid any account confusion.

I have tried a private tab and from different browsers, it's not the conflicting of accounts, it's that the root account had it's permissions removed and possibly moved to the other account? But the other one has no access to any of the resources so cannot administrate anything (different tenant IDs assigned).

As mentioned cannot use the portal. I have messaged them on Twitter but no response.

@MinMax Technologies Apologies for the delay on this, are you still facing the issue ?

Normally this would go away if you try in-private browsing, but since you already have tried that and it did not help, we can investigate further by having a close look at your issue (if still occurring).
For that please drop us an email at azcommunity[at]microsoft[dot]com with subject "Attn - Vipul" and mention your Tenant ID and subscription ID in body.
We can then take it forward from there.
