Kafka-sink to Event Hub or other

Hi.

The client wants to sync events being published to Kafka to our Azure environment so we suggested to use Event Hub to stream their events. But apparently that requires them to stream all the events and they don't want that. They want something along the lines of a Kafka-sink connector to a service (any suggestions? I saw sink connectors to Data Explorer and Azure Functions; do those work?) that can send the events (real-time or very little delay) they want to be sent from specific topics.

Is there a recommended way of doing that? Thanks.

The client wants to sync events being published to Kafka to our Azure environment so we suggested to use Event Hub to stream their events.

When you say sync , do you mean that they intend is to send the events to Kafka and also to Azure EventHub(EH) `? If yes then event producer need to send the event to EH also . If the intend is to read the event from Kafka topic , then may be you can follow this doc

Going back to the ask on sink connector , Once the events are in EH you can use Azure stream analytics to do that . Please do have a look on this details here .
