Remote web access (RWA) Cannot upload documents or create folders on any account even with correct permissions.

Hi guys,

As the title suggests I am having trouble with Small business server 2011 remote web access, essentially none of my users can can upload documents or create new folders using RWA, I can download files but even with correct permissions and the ability to do it on a local users PC but on RWA it says Access is Denied.

    Hi,

    Shares which are visible on the Remote Web Access page can be controlled via Sharing and NTFS permissions. Share-level permissions allow you to see the share on the RWA but do not guarantee you have access to interact with it. In order to access the share, the user must have both share-level and NTFS-level permissions to it.

    Please make sure that folder permission is correct. You may try to add a new sharing folder and check the result.

    Existing problematic folder, please check and confirm their permission configuration:

    1. Using CMD "NET SHARE <share name>" to check share permission
    2. Using "ICACLS <share path>" to check NTFS permission
